A great day out for the SAPS widows and orphans

The South African Police Services has lost many members in the line of duty. They sacrificed their lives to ensure South Africa’s citizens were kept safe. In paying the ultimate price, these SAPS heroes have left behind widows and orphans to cope with the reality of losing a vital family member. The MTN Expo Centre gave back to the grieving widows and orphans during the much-anticipated Joburg Easter Festival, providing them with a great day out.

 

“Easter epitomises a time of the year when quality family time takes centre stage, but it often turns into a period of profound sadness when the financial livelihood of a family is snatched away in the face of a breadwinner that dies in the line of duty,” says Craig Newman, CEO of the MTN Expo Centre. So a day filled with entertainment for all was organised for the SAPS widows and orphans by the MTN Expo Centre at the Joburg Easter Festival.
