The MTN Expo Centre was privileged to host the African National Congress (ANC) volunteers' victory party for the 2009 National Elections. Over 18 000 volunteers came to revel in the festivities with some of South Africa’s well-known artists.

 

The MTN Expo Centre’s in-house caterers, Main Event Catering, showcased their versatility and exceptional capabilities, ensuring ample food and drinks were served as volunteers celebrated with great adoration. The true spirit of ubuntu filled the air with members chanting victory songs and ululation in tribute to President Jacob Zuma. “Being associated with an event of such calibre was an exceptional opportunity for the MTN Expo Centre to once again present our ability to handle an event of such magnitude,” says Craig Newman, CEO of the MTN Expo Centre.
