The Looping Star rollercoaster use to be a significant attraction for all that came to share a great day out. It has been out of action for some years now, but its reintroduction in 2012 plans to spark many memories as well as create new ones. Desrae McDonnell, JEC Exhibition and Events Manager, recalls her memories of the looping star, "I remember going on the Looping Star when I was about ten-years-old. We would stand in the queue, go on the ride, and then get back in line for another rush – it was exhilarating".

The JEC monorail is also back in business. With preparation almost complete, the return of this Rand Show attraction will offer visitors the opportunity to experience all the excitement of the Rand Show from a bird's-eye-view.
